work, work

it seems like all i’ve done lately is work. i think i’ve worn myself out. some of the japanese that are crucial to making things function correctly where i work are leaving at the end of this month, so they’ve been stuffing lots of training on the set-up techs, of which i am one, into our normal schedule which has already grown from before anyway. yeah, overtime pay is good, but it’s not worth all the extra stress and being away from my wife. i’m very grateful for the knowledge and will do my best to put it to use, but in this short amount of time it is nearly information overload. i don’t why they waited until the last possible second to start training us. all i can do is take notes and hope to understand the notes later when i’m required to put to use this new knowledge. hopefully, i won’t break something.

  1. ain’t corporate america (and now asia) grand? their concern for you is directly proportional to your concern for their bottom line…but i’m sure you’ll do well and win their favour. baton rouge is cool. owning a home is even cooler. but being full-time in a local church, equipping and mobilising, is the best.
