candace and i went to the atlanta zoo yesterday. it was my first time at the zoo in atlanta. it was fun. we tried to go the other day, but it was supposed to rain, which of course it didn’t until like 5pm, but this was a better day anyway. it was perfect shorts and flops weather. and i finally got to experiment with my D50. of course, i saw a guy there with a D200 and a massive telescopic lens. i was a little jealous with my poor little 18-55 lens. you really need to be able to zoom quite a bit to hope to get any good shots of most of the big animals at the zoo.
